Hi,
actually it's possible to import registered computers from delimited text file via the Computers Registration Wizard. Have you tried to use it?

| I have looked at this import feature but it seems limited to the computer address only. I would like to be able to import address, name, computer description, mac address, contact details and specify the Computer Group (by name) that each PC should be set to. This way I could pull a new import file from my management database regular basis and pickup any additions or changes in our inventory. If the import routine could handle ODBC queries and be scheduled to run at a regular interval you could achieve a tight integration with 3rd party management systems. Thanks for taking a look at these enhancement requests. Love your product!

It's a reasonable feature request indeed. Actually we have already created like three different customizations for our clients where the Import feature imports more than just addresses. The last one was IP Address, MAC, and Description. So it seems that it's time to create a full featured Import from text files. Thanks for your feedback!
