When the file transfer window is opened (you do not actually have to do a file transfer), then closed, you are not able to control the remote pc. You can still view the pc, though. This has happened with Smartcode UltraVNC 1.01. It does not make a difference how the server was installed (pushed out thru manager or ran from pc itself). We only have tried this on XP Pro SP2.

Actually it seems that the file transfer (both Tight and UltraVNC) is broken in the current build. We will be investigating this issue today... Thanks for letting us know about the problem.

UPDATE: the bug has been fixed in the build 3.0.29.1
