Its very nice in S-Code that you can enter passwords with servers so that you do not have to type em over and over again.
But it also makes it a little bit insecure, because there are people that forget to lock their computer and just keep S-Code running.
So it would be very nice if you could protect S-code with a startup password and with a password when resumed from minimised (both as separate options to check if you want it)

Patrick,
we have been asked a few times for this feature. But it's our firm believe that there is no point implement such feature on per application basis, such Windows has already such feature. This feature can be found in the Display Properties -> Screen Saver tab and called "On resume, password protect". You just have to enable a screen saver, set password protect mode and that's it. Even if a user forgets to lock his PC it will be locked automatically by screen saver.

| I think password protection is very important. If I save the config file or lost my notebook. People can use my config file on the harddisk and import to their vnc manager. So, hundred of my customer's server will be hack. That's everyone who have little bit computer knowledge can be done. It's a good software but I will not able to use if there is no password protect option. That just like I label a IP and password list on my laptop.

This is actually not an issue either. Windows XP/2003 supports encrypted filesystem (EFS) feature that encrypts files and folders stored on NTFS volume. So what you should do is to encrypt the VNC Manager's configuration folder and that's it. The only way other people will be able to read the protected data is if they could login under your Windows account.
